Oh Girl, This is my Jam.

This is my undisputed Summer Anthem. I never thought in a million years a band like The Virgins would make such a heavy dent in my rotations. Guess I'm all grown up. The posting is a little late because I had to finally take a break listening to it. The OG is a beast also, enjoy.

The Virgins- Rich Girls (Le Castle Vania's Spring Break No Parents Remix)

Ced Hughes

Just got done with my blog rounds after my morning ride was cancelled with a flat tire. Came up on this dude, Ced Hughes from Virginia Beach. Really feeling the production he's choosing to smash on, not to mention hes dead on with the raps. Peep game, and leave some feedback.

Ced Hughes- Jackers of the Swag. This will deff. be getting play Friday @ The Solution.

July 3rd / First Friday / Patrick Hansen + Path One

Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrty. Im GEEKED to finally get Mr. Hansen in the building for this. He is also a fresh DJ.

Dont forget about the homey Path One. His album dropping soon.

"Fixie's are like Cadillac's on 22's for Hipsters"

I don't consider myself a hipster, maybe a poser one at best, despite DJ Low Key persistently labeling me as one. Yes, mis pantolones have grown tighter and you might catch me with a five panel flip cap on at times. However, I have recently picked up a lil Prince single speed and made the conversion. Its a nice break from spending hours online downloading music and drinking beer. Here a some dope sites I found that are fixie related:

407 Fixed Gear

Trackosaurus Rex

Risk One x Sounds Supreme // Speakeasy Mix V.3

I was pumped when my man Risk One from Seattle agreed to do Speakeasy's V.3 with me. If your not up on him he's crushing remixes on Crooklyn Clan, holds residences at Blush in the Wynn hotel in Vegas & The Last Supper Club in Seattle. Mix turned out super solid start to finish. BUMP!

Henok Achido

The Solution 2 year Anny.

Wew, I can not believe it has been two years already. Low Key and I have moved venues numerous times, threw some crazy parties, and dealt with some serious BS from a lot of people...were still here, and only getting bigger and badder. Hope to see yall out Friday, Feb 6th. We are going to have tons of free ish to give away and party our asses off.

Speakeasy Mixtape Vol. 1

WEW! I have to say one thing first...This whole project was a shit ton of work! LOL. But its here! And without a doubt I enjoyed every minute of it.

Ok with that being said, here it is, the first installment of a monthly mix series I will be doing every month for Speakeasy, one of the illest street wear spots here in Denver. Each month however I will have a guest DJ to help me hold it down proper. Every months mix will also be a different genre of bumpski's and will not dissapoint...promise.

And one last note, I personally designed the cover art for this project. Literally, I loaded PS CS3 on my comp yesterday, woke up at 8am started it and just finished it (its 2pm now). Nuff of my egotistical boasting. Enjoy!

Manik Pushin 5 After Part at The Solution!

Manik Skateboards, in association with Speakeasy on Broadway, is pleased to present “Pushin’ 5,” an exhibition examining the aesthetic carnage at the unmarked intersection of fine art, contemporary graphics and skateboard culture. This show is a follow-up to the highly acclaimed “PUSH Project” exhibition, which opened in Seattle in 2003 before traveling to Los Angeles, New York and Portland, OR. Like its predecessor, the show will feature the work of highly accomplished artists working in a variety of media. Organized by visual artist and graphic designer Nin Truong, together with veteran curator Larry Reid, “Pushin’ 5” open in Denver at Speakeasy, located at 70 Broadway Avenue, on Friday the Eleventh of July, 2008.

Unfortunetly what all of this fails to mention is that the After party for this bitch will be at The Soultion (Funky Buddda), with myself and DJ Low Key...So come to both.

Sounds Supreme Radio Edit Refix's

So I know I have been totally lagging on the weekly "Three 4 Free's", (Which I swear will be up ASAP), but for good reason. I Have been doing a lot of radio edit blends for my show (Shameless Self Promotion Here: Every sat Night on KKQS 107.5 FM Denver 11-2am), so i don't blow my brains out from playing the same shit every week! Excuses aside here a handful of your boys refix's....Bon Appetite:
